CARSON HERSCH JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER & BETTER!! YET ANOTHER PR & SCHOOL RECORD –15:46!!

Top ranked in our division --Carson Hersch ran an amazing 15:46 at the Chesaning Invitational today at Showboat Park. The boys finished 2^nd behind USA in small schools but 4^th overall for the meet –Ann Arbor Huron won with 38 pts -NL guys scored 112 & were 4^th out of 14 schools  . Following Carson was Drew Kohlmann who finished 4^th running a PR time of 17:00! Also scoring for the guys was Ryan Heslip 14^th, 18:36(PR), Jason Weber 16^th,  18:51(PR) & Aaron Vincke 17^th, 19:03. Cole Yaros 19:06 & Zach Craven 19:28(PR) also ran for the Varsity guys.

The Varsity girls finished 1st in the small schools but 3rd overall with 107 pts. Ann Arbor won with 45 pts.Clara Krupp won the HS girls race running her personal best time of 19:01, followed by Lindsey Wendling 10^th, 22:54(PR), Sidney Green 11^th, 22:55(PR), Alana Beckman 12^th, 23:01, & Chalea Herron 16^th, 23:35(PR) -each scored for the girls. Julia Martin 24:05 & Lauren Lane 24:07(PR) also ran for the Varsity girls.

JV boys were second (62 pts) behind Ann Arbor’s 15 pts. Josh Collins led off for the NL guys running 19:36 finishing 11th, followed by Logan Wolford 17^th, 19:57, Brennan Unangst 20:00, Luke Henige 21:06, & Sam Collins 21:48 -each ran PR times & scored for the JV runners. Also running was Alex Milks 22:02PR Max Spencer 22:19PR , Will Craven 22:27, Matt Kieffer 23:35, Dillan Morell 23:36, Zach Graves 23:46PR, Andrew Sharpe 24:24PR, Ethan Brunner 24:56PR, & Logan Hornak 26:25PR.

In the JV girls race Ann Arbor once again won (26 pts) with NL 3^rd with 55 pts. Kendra Gross led the JV girls running 6^th in 24:50, Madison Wheeler 7^th, 24:52PR, Lauren Gross 13^th, 25:10, Taylor Yaros 14^th, 25:18 & Charlotte Gross 15^th, 25:26PR -each scored for the girls. Also running was Abbey Angst 25:44PR, Jillian Rau 25:57PR, Alivia Angst 26:13, Danielle Wendling 26:33PR, Isabel Henige 26:50, Macy Matthews 27:14, Tabatha Gross 27:22PR, Maria Magnuszewska 27:14PR, Emily Gross 28:39PR, Haley Vincke 28:48, Kayla Clark29:11PR, Isabella Morell 29:31PR, Kora Krupp 31:01, Brooke Albert32:25, Makenzi Tallon 34:56PR & Jasmine Eickholt 37:35PR.

Ally Andres finished 2^nd in the 1.5 mile MS race for the girls running 9:11 with the NL girls taking 2^nd (51pts) behind Clio (51pts). Also scoring for the MS girls was Kyra Edwards 6^th, 10:24, Cailyn Adduddell 8^th, 10:26, Laura Sharpe 18^th, 11:15 & Maya Newman 22^nd, 11:24. Also running was Sara Dammann 11:28, Klara Mulcahy 11:28, Rylee Elkins 11:43, Olivia Gillett 11:50, Emma Lebourdais 13:18, Anna Tallon 15:17, Kennedi Wendling 15:42, Abby Burr 18:02, Alivia Quirk 21:14 & Veronica Stacey 21:15.

NL Middle School boys finished 4^th with 79 pts, with Birch Run winning with 46 pts. Lieu Vincke led the MS boys running7th in 9:36, followed by August Birkmeier 17^th, 10:14, Kyle Hinrichs 18^th, 10:16, Hunter Cromwell 23^rd, 10:22 & Matthew Hughes 24^th, 10:25 -each scored for the boys. Also running was Jasper Andres 10:55, Weston Sweers 10:56, Paul Sharpe 11:12, Jared Angst 11:58, Kaden Ingram 12:39 & Tim Schmeir 18:10.
