The Lady Hornets made short work of the visiting Mt.  Morris panthers on Wednesday evening with a 10-0 five inning win and 15-0 three inning  win.

Mallory Heroux started the game and got the win.  She gave up 0 hits, 0 walks and struck out 6 over 3 innings.  Kayla Brunner pitched 2 innings giving up 1 hit, 0 walks and struck out 2.  

It took until the 2nd inning for the hornets to get things started scoring 2 runs. Mak Wendling and and Marissa Rombach each had doubles in the inning.  The hornets scored one in the 3rd then 7 in the 4th inning.  The big inning was thanks to singles by Ash Orr and Olivia Birchmeier and doubles by Victoria Henige and Sara Dammann

NL had 11 hits in the game lead by Rombach with 3 hits.  Orr,  Dammann and O. Birchmeier also collect 2 hits apiece.  Dammann and Henige had 2 RBIs.  The hornets also did not commit a single error in the game.  Henige had 8 chances in the field, the most on the team.

In the nitecap 2 pitcher combined for a 3 inning perfect game.  Mallory Heroux started the game and got the win.  Heroux gave up 0 hits, walks and struck out one.  Delaney Gross came in relief and also gave up 0 hits, walks and struck out 3.

New Lothrop scored 10 runs in the first inning sending 14 batters to the plate.  Olivia Birchmeier,  and Orr reached base twice.  Birchmeier reach on error and had a single.  Orr had and single and triple.  Rombach, Brynne Birchmeier, M Heroux, Ava Thorsby and Brianna Heroux also had hits in the inning.  The hornets scored 4 more in the 2nd.  Thorsby singled and Rombach homered to lead the scoring onslaught..  The hornets finished out the game in the 3rd inning when Henige was hit by a pitch and then scored later in the inning on a passed ball.

Rombach, Orr and Thorsby each had 2 hits in the game.  Rombach had a double, home run had 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs.  Thorsby had a double, single 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs.  

The Hornets improve to 15-4 on the year and extended their winning streak to 10 games in a row.
