The Hornets played 2 lopsided games against Mt. Morris winning 17-0 and 16-0 both in three innings.
One of NL oldest standing records from 1979-1982 was broken in the second inning when Marissa Rombach scored her 152 run of her career. Rombach a four year varsity starter, as a freshmen scored 54 runs (one short of a season record), followed it up with 35 runs scored as a sophomore and 42 runs as a Junior.
