The Hornets won the first game 6-4 thanks to some qualtity defense, timely hitting and a good pitching performance by Mallory Heroux.

M. Heroux earned the win going 7 innings, giving up 11 hits 4 earned runs, striking out 8 and walking 2.

NL got the scoring going early plating 2 runs in the top of the 1st. Delaney Gross reached on error to lead off the innings followed by a double by Brynn Birchmeier scoring Gross and then a single by Ashlyn Orr scored Birchmeier.  The Panthers would tie it up in the bottom of the first.  The game would remained tied until the 4th when the Heroux sisters help plate a run.  Mallory Heroux singled and then scored then Brianna Heroux double off the left field fence.  NL would score 2 more in the 5th thanks to singles by B. Birchmeier, Marissa Rombach and Ava Thorsby.  NL finished there scoring in the 6th when M. Heroux reached on a error and Delaney Gross doubled to left field.

NL collected 11 hits in the first game with Thorsby, Birchmeier, Romach and M. Heroux having 2 hits a piece.  Thorsby, Gross, Orr Birchmeier and M. Heroux each had an RBI.  NL played great defense in the game making a couple of diving plays while committing no errors.

Delaney Gross lead the Hornets both in the circle and at the plate in a 12-1 victory in the night cap,  Gross collected 4 hits and also got the win in the circle.  Gross singled in the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th innings

Gross surrended 8 hits and 1 run over 6 innings striking out 6 and walking 1.

NL got the scoring started in the 2nd inning scoring 5 runs with 2 outs.  After 2 outs, NL tallied 6 straight hits. Mallory Heroux, Bri Heroux, Gross, Victoria Henige,  Brynn Birchmeier all singled and Marissa Rombach doubled.  Gross, Birchmeier, and Rombach each collected 1 RBI while Henige collected 2 in the inning.  The Hornets would score 4 more in the fifth.  Lexi Birchmeier lead the inning off with a walk, followed by a single by M. Heroux.  B. Heroux got a sac bunt down to set the table for Gross, Henige, Birchmeier to drive in 3 runs with 3 consecutive singles.  Aslyn Orr hit a sac fly to score the 4th run of the inning.  The hornets finished off the mercy rule win in the 6th inning scoring 3 more runs.  M. Heroux doubled, followed by a single for pinch hitter Kennedy Birchmeier, Gross followed with a single and then Birchmeier ended the game with a single driving in 2 runs.

The Horents piled up 17 hits in the game.  Birchmeier and Gross each had 4 hits in the game.  M. Heroux had 3 and Henige had 2 hits.   Birchmeier collected 4 RBIs in the night cap followed by Gross and Henige with 3 RBIs a piece.  Gross, M. Heroux and Kennedy Birchmeier each scored 3 runs.

For the 2nd game in a row the Hornets did not commit a single error.  

Weather permitting the Hornets are schedule to play Owosso on Friday the 12th
