The lady Hornets swept the host Waverly Warriors winning 11-4 and 9-7 thanks to some hot bats.

Marissa Rombach hit 2 home runs and drove in 5 runs in the first game.  She homered in both the 1st and 7th innings.

The first inning Victoria Henige drew a walk and Rombach hit a 2 run home run to put NL up 2-0.  The Hornets added 1 in the second when Henige singled scoring Sara Dammann.  The hornets added 2 in the 4th when Henige double scoring Ava Thorsby, followed by a Brynne Birchmeier double.    The game was close at 5-4 until the 6th when the Hornets scored 4 runs.  Delaney Gross and Henige lead of the inning with walks, Rombach singled scored 1 run and then Ashlyn Orr hit a 3 run home run to make the score 9-4.  NL would add 2 insurance runs in the 7th inning with a 2 run home run by Rombach.

Mallory Heroux got the start and the win.  She went 5 innings giving up 4 runs, 3 walks and struck out 6.  Gross pitched 2 innings of relief giving up 0 hits, 0 runs walking 1 and striking out 1.

The Hornets collected 13 hits and 7 walks in the game.  Rombach lead the hornets with 2 singles 2 home runs 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Henige also had a good day with 2 singles a double and 2 walks 2 RBIs in 5 plate appearances.  Sara Dammann also collected 2 hits and scored a run.

New Lothrop squandered a 5 run lead in the second  game but still held on for the victory 9-7.

The Hornets scored 3 in the first.  Delaney Gross lead the game off with a walk went to 2nd on a wild pitch and the scored on a Brynne Birchemeier singled.  Following 2 more walks Mallory Heroux  singled in 2 more runs.  The score was knotted at 4 going into the 5th when the Hornets scored 3 runs.  Gross and Henige drew walks, Rombach was hit by a pitch and Orr singled in a run and Brianna Heroux singled in 2 more.  NL added 2 more in the 5th.  Sara Dammann lead off with a single followed by  walks by Thorsby and Henige.  A Birchemeir single scored Dammann and a Rombach single scored Thorsby.  

The top of the 6th the Hornets tried to give the game back to Waverly committing 3 errors and allowing the host warriors to close the gap to 9-7. 

Delaney Gross started the game going 3.1.  She gave up 6 hits 4 runs, striking out 3 and walking one.  Brianna Heroux came in relief in the 4th getting the win.  Heroux pitched 3.2 inning giving up 5 hits 3 runs (1 earned) striking out 4 and walking 1.

NL collected 7 hits and 11 walks in the night cap. B. Birchemeier went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and scored a run,  Ashlyn Orr went 2-3 a walk, a RBI and scored 3 runs.  Henige lead the team with 3 walks in 4 plate appearnces

The Hornet improved to 15-4-1 on the season
