The Hornets lost to the host Leslie Blackhawks on Saturday 4-1.

The only run the Hornets could push across the plate was when Mallory Heroux doubled in the 2nd followed by a Sara Damman single.  The Hornets only managed 5 hits in the contest lead by Victoria Henige who had a double and single in 3 at bats.

M. Heroux started for the Hornets and took the loss.  She went 4 innings giving up 4 runs on 7 hits striking out six and walking one.  Delaney Gross threw 2 innings of relief giving up 3 hits 0 runs while striking out 2.

NL got back on the winning track in the consolation game of the tournament beating the Birmingham Groves 19-4.  The Hornets scored in every inning 2 mercy teh Falcons in 5.

Nl scored one in the first thanks to a single by Brynne Birchmeier scoring Delaney Gross.  They scored one in the second with a double by Brianna Heroux.The Hornets opened the flood gates in the 3rd scoring 7 runs.  Gross lead off the inning with a hit by pitch stole second and then came home on a single by Victoria Henige.  Ash Orr single later in the inning scoring 2 runs, followed by two more 2 RBI singles by B. Heroux and Gross.  Nl scored 7 more in the 4th inning.  M.Heroux, Gross, B. Birchmeier, Marissa Rombach and Orr all had RBI's in the inning.  The Hornets finished out the scoring by scoring 3 in the 5th when Henige doubled scoring 2 and B. Birchmeier singled scoring Henige

Brianna Heroux got the win for the Hornets.  She gave up 5 hits and 4 runs of 5 innings striking out 6 and walking 3.

NL had 17 hits in the game lead by B. Birchmeier who went 3-4 with a double 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.   B. Heroux went 3-4 with 4 RBIs, Gross was 2-2 with 3 RBIs 3 runs scored and reached and was hit by pitches twice. Henige had 2 hits including a double, 2 walks 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs
