New Lothrop started the day by defeating St. Charles 15-0 in 4 innings.  The Heroux sisters Mallory and Brianna dominate the game on the mound and at the plate.  Brianna Heroux pitched 4 innings giving up 1 hit 0 runs walking 2, striking out 4.  She shut down St. Charles over 4 innings never allowing St. Charles to get a runner past 2nd base.  Mallory Heroux helped her sister out at the plate going 3 for 3 and driving in 4 runs.  M. Heroux drove in 2 runs in the first inning with a single with the bases loaded with walks.  She also singled in 4th inning with bases loaded plating Ash Orr who was on with and walk and Sara Dammann who had a bunt single.

New lothrop scored every inning.  They scored 3 in the first 3 in the second, 2 in the 3rd and 7 in the 4th to end the ball game.

New lothrop had 13 hits in the game.  Marissa Rombach went 2-3 with 1 RBI, Brynne Birchmeier went 3-4 with 2 RBIS, Sara Dammann went 2-2 with a walk and 2 RBIs, Delaney Gross went 2-3 with 2 RBIS

The second game versus the St. Louis Sharks was a nail bighter that saw the sharks go up by 3 in the fifth.  New lothrop didn't quit and had a game tying home run in the bottom of the 6th by Marissa Rombach and walk off sac fly by Ash Orr to win it in the bottom of the 7th.  New lothrop defeated the Sharks 6-5

Dealney Gross started the game went 5 inning gave up 6 hits, 5 runs (4 earned) walking 1 and striking out 7.  Mallory Heroux got the win she pitched the last 2 innings of the game giving up 1 hit 0 runs and striking out 2

New lothrop spotted the Sharks 2 runs in the first inning, but battled back scoring 1 in bottom of the first.  Rombach lead off with a walk stole second and then scored on a single by Brynne Birchmeier.  The game stayed 2 to 1 until the bottom of the 4th when NL knotted the score at 2. Sara Dammann lead the inning off with a double.  She was stranded at 3rd with 2 outs until Lexi Birchmeier hit a infield blooper and hustled out a infield hit to score Dammann. 

New lothrop gave up 3 runs in the top of the fifth giving up to 2 double and a home run.  It didn't look for the Hornets at this point but they dug in and faught there way out of the whole.  The bottom of the 6th inning the come back started.  Mak Wendling was hit by a pitched moved to 3rd on a couple wild pitches and with 2 outs Lexi Birchmeier singled to drive in Wendling.  Rombach then took a 3-1 pitch to dead center field for a 2 run shot to tie the game.  The hornets got the Sharks out 1,2,3, in the top of the 7th.  Bottom of the 7th Brynne Birchmeier lead off with a single advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch.  Ash Orr came up and did her job hitting a fly ball to right field allowing Birchmeier to tag and move to 3rd.  The throw in got by the 2nd basemen and with some heads base running by Birchmeier advanced and scored the winning run.

New Lothrop had 9 hits.Lexi Birchmeier went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIS, Brynne Birchmeier went 2-4,  Rombach had the home run had 2 RBIS and scored 2 runs.  Henige, Dammann, and M Heroux each contributed a hit a piece

In the finals New Lothrop defeated TC St. Francis 6-5 thanks to a 4 RBI game by Victoria Henige.   This was a quality team win for the Hornets as TC St. Francis is currently ranked 7th in division 3.

New Lothrop used all 3 of their pitchers in the finals.  Mallory Heroux got the start, she gave up 3 hits, 3 runs, walked 4 and stuck out 4.  Brianna Heroux pitched the 4th and 5th inning giving up 4 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk and striking out 2.  Delaney Gross finished out the game throwing the 6th and 7th innings.  She gave up 2 hits 0 runs, 0 walks and striking out 2.

NL got things started in the first with singles by Rombach, Henige, Dammann and Wendling scoring 2 runs.  The hornets scored another in the 2nd.  Gross lead off the inning with a walk she advance to 2nd on a bunt by L. Birchmeier and then scored on a line drive single by Henige.  TC scored 1 run in the 2nd innning and 2 more in the 3rd to tie the score at 3.  In the top of the 4th,  L. Birchmeier was on with a walk and Rombach with a single, when Henige put the game out of reach and ended the NL scoring for the day with a 3 run 2 out bomb to right field. 

St. Francis did not make it easy for the hornets by scoring 2 in the bottom of the 4th making it 6-5.  New lothrop got out of a bases loaded 1 out jam in the inning when B. Birchmeier caught a tough line drive at 2nd base and doubled the runner off at first base.

New Lothrop had 9 hits.  Henige lead the team going 3-4 with 2 singles, a home run 4 RBIS and scored 1 run, Rombach went 2-4 and scored 2 runs, Damman went 2-4 with 1 RBI,  Gross and Wendling each had a hit a piece. 

New lothrop improved to 13-4 on the season winning their last 8 in a row and 10 of the last 11 games.
