Isabel Henige went 9 for 9 with a hit by pitch in 3 games at the Chesaning softball invitational.   

New lothrop started out the day beating Eaton Rapids 9-8 with a walk off hit by Julia Martin . New Lothrop Hornets  trailed 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Martin singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs. New Lothrop Hornets were boosted by Henige who went 4-for-4 at the plate.Henige doubled in the third, singled in the fourth, doubled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh. Samantha Birchmeier was the winning pitcher for New Lothrop Hornets. She allowed 13 hits and eight runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking zero.

 The second of three games, New Lothrop Hornets fell to Pewamo-Westphalia After Fourth Inning Score

New Lothrop Hornets Varsity lost to Pewamo-Westphalia on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Pewamo-Westphalia batting in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run for Pewamo-Westphalia.The New Lothrop Hornets struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Pewamo-Westphalia, giving up 18 runs. New Lothrop Hornets put up three runs in the second inning. The rally was led by a home run by Julia Martin and a double by Isabel Henige.  

Samantha Birchmeier  Lacy Birchmeier and Paige Bishop all pitched in the game with Bishop taking the loss. Henige went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead New Lothrop Hornets  in hits.

In the final game, New Lothrop Hornets defeated Chesaning

New Lothrop Hornets  snagged a late lead and defeated Chesaning 6-5 on Saturday. The game was tied at five with New Lothrop Hornets  batting in the top of the sixth when Julia Martin doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. New Lothrop Hornets  earned the victory despite allowing Chesaning to score five runs in the first inning. 

In the top of the fifth inning, New Lothrop Hornets tied things up at five.

Paige Bishop earned the win for New Lothrop Hornets . She allowed 11 hits and five runs over six innings.New Lothrop Hornets  launched one home run on the day. Jersey Hemgesberg had a homer in the third inning. New Lothrop Hornets  scattered nine hits in the game. Isabel Henige, Hemgesberg, and Charleigh Birchmeier all collected multiple hits for New Lothrop Hornets Varsity. Henige led New Lothrop Hornets Varsity with three hits in three at bats.
