Varsity Bowling: New Lothrop vs. Bentley

This past weekend, New Lothrop Varsity bowling defeated a strong Bentley team.
The boys team came from behind to tie the game at 15-15 forcing an 2 baker game roll-off. New Lothrop emerged from a high pressure situation to get the win in overtime!
The girls team won all ten points in the baker matches to go up 10-0 right away. There were a few tense minutes when the girls gave up some critical pinfall totals, but came back in the final game to get the win!
Now we are looking forward to playing Chesaning next week. Go Hornets!
Varsity Boys Bowling @ the Lakeland Invitational

Yesterday, the varsity boys bowling team traveled to Waterford to compete in the Lakeland Invitational. The field was full of D1 schools with experienced squads, but the NL boys were up to the challenge.
Rafael Woods finished in 1st place with a 675 series, rolling a good game of 244.
Kaine Moriarty took home the award for high game of a 266, taking 8th in the individual event with a 615 series.
Other standout games were rolled by Charlie Gross (248) and Graham Malone (200)! Great job everyone!
Varsity Boys Bowling Team is the MMAC Conference Champs!

New Lothrop boys bowling beat a tough Ovid-Elsie team to become the MMAC champs. Strong performances by Kaine Moriarity (257 game) and Rafael Woods (297) game helped lead the team to victory.
Middle School Bowling Tryouts

Middle School Bowling tryouts are @ Colonial Lanes on March 9, 11, 16 & 18 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
Important facts:
- We provide team shirts, weekly practice and competition fees, and alley balls and shoes
- The season lasts approximately 10 weeks, from March 28 till May 23
Each student athlete also has the opportunity to represent their school and earn scholarships.
Come out to bowl if you are a 7th or 8th Grader who wants to compete against other schools and gain scholarship points!
