Cam Orr threw a four hitter with five strikeouts in game one as the Hornets defeated the Panthers 13-3.  Brady Birchmeier struck out seven in a one hit shut out as the Hornets finished the series sweep with an 11-0 win on Monday night.  Alex Henige added four hits on the day and Brady Birchmeier four as well including a homerun.  

Cannon Cromwell was great on the mound in a five inning one hitter as the Hornets defeated Birch Run 11-1 in game one of the non league doubleheader on Thursday.  Brady Birchmeier hit two of his three homers on the day, which included six hits and eight rbi.  In game two, the Hornets continued hitting well in an 18-3 victory. Cam Orr had a big game with four hits and 4 rbi.  Avery Morse, Joe Bitterman, and Cromwell had two hits in game two.  the Hornets will travel to Byron on Monday for a league doubleheader

Cam Orr and Brady Birchmeier both threw shut outs as the Hornets won a pair of 10-0 games on Monday.  Orr lead the way at the plate with three hits and three rbi.  Jordan Belmar had two hits as well as Tommy Williamson for the Hornets.  The team travels to Saginaw on Thursday and Breckenridge on Friday.

Ty Kohlmann and Trevor Eustace combined for eleven hits in the Hornets 12-3,12-2 victories over Montrose on Monday evening.  Cam Orr and Julius Garza each earned wins on the mound as the Hornets inched closer to claiming an outright MMAC Championship.

New Lothrop improved to (16-2,10-0 MMAC) by defeating Durand 21-1 and 16-6.  Cam Orr had a huge day with seven hits and seven rbi.  Ty Kohlmann continued his great season at the plate by going five for five on the day, and Trevor Eustace sparked the Hornets with five rbi in game one.  New Lothrop travels to Saginaw Heritage on Saturday to face some tough competition in the Heritage Classic.

Matt Kieffer and Ty Olsen picked up wins on the mound in a pair of 16-1 games at Lakeville.  Brady Birchmeier homered and had eight rbi on the day.  Cam Orr and Cannon Cromwell each had four hits and four rbi.  The Hornets will begin a very tough stretch of games on Friday when they host Oscoda in a battle of ranked teams.  The Hornets are (19-3, 12-0 MMAC.  Congrats to the Softball team for winning the MMAC title today as well!!!!!!!

New Lothrop defeated Ovid Elsie by a pair of 15-0 scores on Monday.  Brady Birchmeier had seven hits and thirteen rbi including two grand slams on the day.  Trevor Eustace had four hits, and Cam Orr picked up both wind on the mound for the Hornets.  New Lothrop (23-3) finished MMAC play (14-0).  The Hornets withh host Fowlerville Tuesday to begin a very tough stretch of games before the state tournament.

Cam Orr had a walk off homer in game one and a sac fly in game two of a 14-13, 10-9 sweep of Fowlerville on Tuesday.  Brady Birchmeier hit two homeruns to go with Orr and Cannon Cromwells round trippers.  Ty Kohlmann had to triples on the day as well.  New Lothrop improved to (25-3) on the season as they continue their torrid stretch of games today at Bentley.   

New Lothrop defeated Durand 25-10 and Perry 15-2 en route to an eleventh straight District Championship.  Jordan Belmer was the tournament MVP with six hits and nine rbi on the night.  Julius Garza pitched a gem in the final, giving up just two runs on six hits against a strong wind blowing out.  The Hornets (29-5) face Mt. Morris on the road in a Regional first round game.

 The Hornets claimed their third Regional years and sixth in the last ten with a 5-3 win over Reese.  The 7th ranked Hornets were defeated in the state quarter finals by #3 Richmond to end the season.  The boys finished with a 31-7 record, MMAC champions, District champions, and Regional Champions.  Throughout the year, the Hornets defeated eight teams that won their respective district.
