Your Hornets defeated Stockwell Academy 6-2 to complete an 11 game 6 day stretch that was caused by inclement weather. Game two was canceled after two innings with Stockwell ahead, no make up is scheduled. On Wednesday, the Hornets played class B power Alma dropping game one 3-2 and finishing game 2 tied 2-2 after seven innings. Brady Birchmeier, Julius Garza, and Kollin Lienau all threw complete games for the Hornets at the end of the 11 game stretch which could provide the rest that they will need to make a run at the league title. New Lothrop (14-5-1, 5-1) will travel to Byron next week for a league doubleheader.
