Cam Orr had nine hits and ten rbi during the Hornets first four game set of the season. New Lothrop defeated Alcona 12-2, Onaway 10-0, and Montrose 12-2, 21-3 over a three day span. Orr, Jake Graves, and Nathaniel Lane picked up wins on the mound for the Hornets. Cannon Cromwell had a nice Varsity start to his career with four hits and six rbi in just two games. Brady Birchmeier homered against Montrose in game one on Monday. New Lothrop 4-0, 2-0 MMAC will travel to Dryden Wednesday and host Petersburg on Saturday. The JV Hornets defeated Montrose 10-1, 4-3 to begin their season. They take on Standish at home on Wednesday.
