New Lothrop runners grab another 2nd place finish overall in the boys small school division for this season at the Birch Run Invitational at Tamouth Park on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024. Caleb Carlson was the first NL runner to cross the finish line with a season best of 12:28 (15th). Helping keep the pace for the hornets were teammates, Thad Dumond with a time of 12:44 (22nd), Lucas Demeter (13:22), Ryder Andres (13:42), Kellen Chamberlain (13:47), Blake Judd (14:09), and Drew Moore (14:21).
Leading the hornet girls this season is Nora Reinhardt, finishing 29th out of 265 runners with a time of 14:45. Respectable finishes included Arianna Olsen (14:55), Elaina Bruff (15:13), Annaliese Olsen (15:23), Mackenzie Thomas (16:48), and Miriam Sharpe (16:50).
