MS Cross Country traveled to Tamouth Park in Burt for the Birch Run Invitational on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 where the Hornets ran against 31 schools.

Setting the pace for the lady Hornets was Ava Wenzlick 15:56, and Ali Hunt (16:22) earning both runners medals. Tackling the course and respectable finishes also included, Miriam Sharpe (18:03), Gabriella Ryan (18:07), Mackenzie Thomas (18:28), Riley Sovis (18:46), Ruey Neumann (19:32), and Anna Lucius (20:54).

Leading the Hornet boys this week was Blake Hornak finishing 37th overall with a time of 13:20. Following Hornak was teammates with great efforts , David Birchmeier (15:54), Cayden Chamberlain (15:01), Blake Judd (15:22), Drew Moore (15:33), Aiden Jacobs (15:39), Gus Wickerham (16:14), Ryder Andres (16:30), Bentley Loudenslager (16:31), Anderson Alguire (16:48), Brayden Hughes (17:55), Ronald Thomas (18:42), Damian Poletti (20:05), Liam Gillett (20:58) and Grant Oginsky (21:17).

Hornets are headed next to Genesee County Championships on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Cummings Center.
