New Lothrop Girls Tracksters took fourth place out of fourteen teams at the MHSAA Regional 29 Track & Field Meet in Bad Axe on Saturday, May 20.
In addition to multiple ladies earning regional medals for their efforts, five athletes qualified for the Division 3 State Finals that will be held Saturday, June 3 at Kent City. Emma Bishop, Lily Bruff, Izzy Heslip, and Laina Yates were Regional Champions in the 4X100m relay; Josie Bauman was Regional Champion in the pole vault; and Bauman, Bishop, Heslip, and Yates were second place finishers in the 4x200m relay.

The Varsity Track team will return to the track on Tuesday, May 23 at Ovid Elsie High School with the goal of winning the conference championship.
