The New Lothrop varsity track teams traveled to Breckenridge on Saturday, April 22 to take part in a fourteen team invitational. 

The girls team finished 3rd in the large school division with 39 points.    Season best performances were set in the 200m dash (Izzy Heslip, Laina Yates, Ella Mulcahy), 400m dash (Maddie Eustace, Ella Mulcahy), 800m run (Klara Mulcahy, Mya Kimball), 1600m run (Josie Bauman), 100m Hurdles (Emma Bishop), 300m Hurdles (Laura Sharpe),  Shot Put (Carlye Martin, Elyssa Williams, Molly Eickholt), Discus (Carlye Martin), Pole Vault (Josie Bauman), and Long Jump (Ashlyn Albert).   Individual athletes who scored for the Lady Tracksters were: Carlye Martin, 3rd Shot Put; Savanna Craven, 8th High Jump; Josie Bauman, 3rd Pole Vault & 1st 1600m; Emma Bishop, 8th 100 Hurdles; Lily Bruff, 6th 100m Dash;  Izzy Heslip, 5th 200m Dash.  In addition, the 4X100m relay (Kayla Hopkins, Ashlyn Albert, Izzy Heslip, Laina Yates) and the 4x400m relay (Izzy Heslip, Maddie Eustace, Josie Bauman, Laina Yates) both earned 3rd place finishes while the 4X800m relay (Josie Bauman, Maddie Eustace, Klara Mulcahy, Mya Kimball) earned a 5th place finish.   

The varsity track teams will face Durand and Chesaning in a double dual meet on Wednesday, April 26 at Chesaning High School before heading to Webberville on Friday for another multi-team invitational.
