Game 1 @ Chesaning New Lothrop fell short 6-4 on Friday despite out hitting them. NL fired up the offense in the first inning, when Addy reached on a dropped 3rd strike. Chesaning pulled away for good with 4 runs in the second inning. Mikalah was in the pitcher's circle for NL. The pitcher went two innings, allowing 6 runs on 2 hits and striking out one. Savannah threw 2 innings in relief. Audrey, Evy, and Savannah each collected one hit to lead NL in hits for the day. 

Game 2 @ Chesaning, NL lost the lead late in a 13-10 defeat on Friday. The game was tied at 8 with Chesaning batting in the top of the 5th when #28 for Chesaning trippled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. NL collected 5 hits and Chesaning had six in the high-scoring affair. In the first inning, Chesaning got their offense started. An error scored one run for Chesaning. In the bottom of the fourth inning, NL tied things up at eight when Addy hit a solo homer. NL put up 4 runs in the 3rd inning. Offense lead by Savannah, Evy, and Maya who all drove in runs. Savannah started the game for NL allowing 5 hits and 13 runs over 3 & 2/3 innings, striking out a whopping eight batters. Addy led NL with 2 hits in 3 at bats. NL stole 8 bases during the game as 2 players stole more than one. Evy lead the stealing frenzy for the day. 

Ultimately NL fell short today, but look to improve as they face Byron for their first home game on Wednesday May 17th.
