The Hornets swept the visiting Panthers on Monday 9-5 and a 5 inning mercy 11-1 in the nightcap.

Alexandria Knieper had a big day at the plate going 3 for 4 in the first game including a HR, 2 doubles, 3 RBIs and scored 2 runs.  The Hornets fell down 1 nothing in the top of the first but rallied back to score 3 of their own.  Victoria Henige and Ashlyn Orr each singed then Knieper double scoring 2 runs.   Ava Thorsby followed with a single scoring Knieper.    NL would go up 8-1 in the 2nd when Aubrie Sevello-Hassled reach on an error Anna Lucius bunted her to 2nd. Savannaha Knieper followed with single, Henige would then drive in the first run of the inning with a sac fly.  Orr followed with a double scoring another run.  Mallory Heroux hit a 2 run bomb followed by another home run my A.Knieper.    The hornets would score their 9th run in the 3rd thanks to 4 straight single by Sevello-Hassled, Lucius, S. Knieper, and Henige.  The Hornents would hold on to win 9-5

The Hornets collected 14 hits in the first game with S. Knieper, A Knieper, Servelo-Hassled, Orr and Henige each collecting multiple hits.  A. Knieper had 3 RBIs while Henige and Heroux collected 2 RBIs a piece

Mallory Heroux started in the circle and got the win.  She went 7 innings giving up 9 hits, 5 earned runs, 2 walks and struck 15.

In the night cap the Hornets had a 5 inning mercy win 11-1.

Mallory Heroux had a big day at the plate and in the circle.     Heroux started and got the win going 5 innings giving up 4 hits 1 ER, 1 walk and struck out 5.

Heroux also help her cause at the plate going 4-4 with a single 2 doubles, a HR and 5 RBIs.  NL would score in 4 out of the 5 innings.  They would score 2 in the first when 3 consecutive doubles by Henige, Orr and Heroux would score 2 runs.  Heroux homered in the 3rd to make it 3-1.  New Lothrop would blow the game open in the 4th batting around and scoring 7 runs with 2 outs.   Henige tripled to bring one run home followed by doubles by Orr, and Heroux, A Knieper singled which was followed by 2 more double my Ava Thorsby and Makenna Gemalsky.   Servello-Hassled who started the inning when she was hit by a pitch would single driving in the 7th run of the inning.  The hornets finished off the panthers in the bottom of the 5th when Henige doubled, Orr singled then Heroux hit a walk off single to end the game.

The Hornet collected 18 hits in the night cap Heroux had 4, Orr and Henige had 3 a piece and A. Knieper and Servello Hassled each had 2.

The Hornets improve to 6-0 in the MMAC and 7-3 over all.
