Even though New Lothrop Varsity Hornets collected ten hits to Ovid-Elsie's seven, they still fell 4-3 on Monday

New Lothrop Varsity Hornets got things started in the second inning when Ty Olsen singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Ovid-Elsie pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third #2 tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, #20 singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs for Ovid-Elsie.
