Game 1 Vs Montrose

New Lothrop Varsity Hornets lost the lead late in an 11-8 defeat to Hill-McCloy on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Hill-McCloy batting in the bottom of the fourth when #28 was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Despite the loss, New Lothrop Varsity Hornets did collect seven hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Hill-McCloy had nine hits on the way to victory.

New Lothrop Varsity Hornets watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 15-1 loss to Goodrich on Saturday. Goodrich took the lead on a in the first inning.

The New Lothrop Varsity Hornets struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Goodrich, giving up 15 runs.

Goodrich scored nine runs in the fourth inning. Goodrich offense in the inning was led by #8, #18, #42, #46, #14, and #1, who each had RBIs in the inning.
