It was a tough contest at Bryon last night as the two teams met for the second time this season. Ultimately the Hornets would split the series as they fell short in a back and forth contest 37 - 32 to the Eagles. The Hornets started off slow offensively and both teams struggled with foul trouble throughout the entire night making the game very challenging. Ava Muron lead the way for the Hornets with 16 points and was 9-9 from the free throw line while Eva Harden added 4 points. Hannah Beaucamp contributed 3 points and 8 rebounds with Madeline Eustace also added 3 points and 4 boards. The Lady Hornets will head into their final week on contests as they look to take on Birch Run and Ovid Elsie.
