"I thought we competed at a high level tonight but lost to a good Montrose team" said New Lothrop coach Brady Simons. "I thought we played with them in spurts but we just couldn't sustain it. They shot the ball extremely well and we had too many turnovers and that was the difference. We took a lot of positives out of the game but, we still have a lot of things to get better at as the season goes on."
Montrose was led by Noah Gross with 16 points
New Lothrop falls to 1-2 overall, 0-1 in conference with a matchup against Mt. Morris on Tuesday
