Hornet Spikers 1st Place at Perry Invite

NL Varsity Volleyball took 1st place in the Silver Bracket at the 16 team Perry Invitational today. The Hornets split with all teams in pool play: St. Patrick 25-19, 18-25, Swan Valley 25-22, 24-26, Carman Ainsworth 25-11, 22-25. The Hornets then advanced to the 9th seed position in the silver bracket and went undefeated beating Montabella 25-13, 25-11, Perry 25-14, 25-22 and Oakland Christian in the finals 25-23, 25-16. The Hornets overall record improves to 25-12-5 and 5-1 in the MMAC. They close out there MMAC league games against Chesaning on Tuesday, which is also parents/senior night.

Jaren Bishop 71 kills, 37 digs, 33/35 serving with 2 ace, 5 blocks, passed 95% (59/62).
