The New Lothrop cross country team competed at the Greater Flint Cross Country Championships on October 5th. 

Lieu Vincke received second team honors placing 12th in Division 3 & 4 with a time of 18:25. Also competing in the varsity race was Jasper Andres (18th- 18:53), Ty Sweers (35th- 19:39), Sean Damman (38th- 20:13), Marshall Kruske (42nd- 20:35), Noah Gillett (46th- 21:06) and Blake Hornak (53rd- 22:01). Competing in the Division 3 & 4 J.V. race included Kevin Heslip (2nd- 22:36), Mark Gyoni (3rd- 23:00), Alex Hughes (4th- 23:27), Ricky Ziola (5th- 23:50), and Tim Schmier (6th- 26:12). 

 Lexy Andres led the girls team with a time of 22:40, receiving second team honors for Division 3 & 4, placing 11th. Also receiving second team honors was Ali Hunt coming in 12th place with a time of 22:50. Additional runners who competed in the varsity race included Laura Sharpe (32nd- 25:09), Olivia Gillett (33rd- 25:13), Ava Wenzlick (35th- 25:55), and Makenna Gemalsky (47th- 26:45). Competing in the Division 3 & 4 J.V. race was Elizabeth Hebert (1st- 27:56), Ava Riehl (2nd- 30:46), and Audrey Turnwald (3rd- 31:15).

The team will compete at the Final MMAC Jamboree on October 9th hosted by Ovid Elsie at Uncle John’s Cider Mill.
