The New Lothrop cross country team competed at the Josh Lott Memorial Invitational hosted by Webberville at Happy Acres Farms on September 22nd. 

The boys team finished 2nd overall with a score of 46. The Hornets were led by Lieu Vincke, who won the boys race with a career PR of 17:48. Also scoring for the boys team was Sean Damman (10th- 19:56), Jasper Andres (11th- 20:02), Ty Sweers (12th- 20:04) and Noah Gillett (16th- 21:07). Additional runners included Matthew Hughes (18th- 21:42), Kevin Heslip(19th- 21:48), Blake Hornack (20th- 21:58), Sawyer Black (22nd- 22:08), Alex Hughes( 28th- 23:44), Ricky Ziola (30th- 24:14), Mark Gyoni (31st- 24:28), Cayden Chamberlain (37th- 25:53), and Tim Schmier (40th- 28:27). 

 The girls team finished 3rd overall at the invitational with 59 points. Ally Andres led the girls team with a time of 23:03, placing 4th. Additional runners for the girls team included Ali Hunt (12th- 24:00), Lexy Andres (13th- 24:05), Ava Wenzlick (17th- 26:18), Laura Sharpe (19th- 26:21), Makenna Gemalsky (23rd- 28:28), Ava Riehl (24th- 28:50), Elizabeth Hebert (26th- 29:33), Audrey Turnwald (27-31:47), and Peace Krupp (31st- 34:24). 

The team will be heading to Durand next to compete at the MMAC Jamboree #2 on September 24th.
