The New Lothrop cross country team competed at their first conference jamboree of the season on September 10th. 

The boys team finished 5th with 100 points. Leading the way for the Hornets was senior Lieu Vincke, placing 9th with a time of 18:43. Also scoring for the boys team was Jasper Andres (19th-20:02), Marshall Kruske (21st- 20:18), Ty Sweers (23rd- 20:31), and Sean Damman (28th- 21:02), with Noah Gillett (21:50) and Sawyer Black (22:08) rounding out the varsity. Additional runners included Mark Gyoni (24:03), Ricky Ziola (24:05), Alex Hughes (25:08), Cayden Chamberlain (26:22), and Tim Schmier (28:38). 

 The girls team was 3rd with 53 points. Lexy Andres led the girls team with a time of 22:57, good for 5th place. Additional scorers for the girls team included Ally Andres (6th- 23:15), Ali Hunt (12th- 24:26), Olivia Gillett (18th- 25:49), and Ava Wenzlick (22nd- 26:31). Also competing was Laura Sharpe (27:37), Makenna Gemalsky (27:48), Ava Riehl (29:19), Elizabeth Hebert (31:23), Audrey Turnwald (33:26), and Peace Krupp (35:36). 

The team will next compete at the Chesaning XC invitational on September 12th.
