NL softball defeated the visiting Rams on Monday 5-0 and 10-0.

 Victoria Henige had a big first game to propel the Hornets to victory.  Henige went 3 for 3 with a walk and 3RBIs.  She doubled in the 2nd inning singled in the fourth and singled in the 6th.

NL got the scoring started in the 2nd inning when Mallory Heroux singled and scored on a Delaney Gross triple.  Henige then doubled scoring Gross to put the hornets up 2-0.  The Henige-Gross cominbation worked again in the fourth when Gross doubled and Henige drove her in with a single.  The hornets scored 2 more in the 6th Sara Damman lead the inning off with and single, Alexandria Knieper had a pinch hit single, Henige singled for her 3rd RBI of the day and Marissa Rombach singled scoring another run

Brianna Heroux got the start and the win in the circle for the hornets.  She gave up 4 hits 0 runs striking out 1 and walking 2 in 4 innings of work.  Mallory Heroux finished out the game trowing 3 innings giving up 3 hits, 0 runs and striking out 4.

The hornets collected 12 hits 4 stolen bases and did not commit a single error in the field.

Brynne Birchmeier lead the hornets in the 2nd game driving in 4 runs on 3 hits in a 10-0 five inning victory.  Birchmeier singled in the first, 2nd and 4th and walked in the fifth to collect her 4 RBIs.

NL got the scoring started in the 1st when Gross walked stole second and then scored on a Birchmeier single. Birchmeier stole 2nd and scored on the next pitch when the 3rd basemen made an error.  The Hornets scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning with 2 outs. M. Heroux lead the inning of with a walk made her way around to 3rd thanks to 2 passed balls.  Gross, Henige, and Birchmeier had 3 singles in a row scoring 2 more runs.  NL scored 3 more runs in the 4th thanks to RBI hits by Birchmeier, rombach and Ash Orr.  NL finished out the mercy in the 5th when they scored 2 more runs thanks to hit by Aubrey Servello-Hassled , and walks by Lexi Birchmeier, Dammann and B. Birchmeier.  Elizabeth Hebert came in as a pinch runner and scored the winning run on a throwing error by the catchers

Gross started the game and got the win.  She only allowed 1 hit and 0 runs, striking out 4 and walking one over 5 innings. 

Gross, Henige, and M. Heroux each had 2 hits and Birchmeier had 3 hits.  Birchmeier collected 4 RBIs and scored 2 runs.  Gross, Henige, Rombach and Orr each had and RBI in the game.

The Hornets improve 17-4-1 and have one 7 straight
