Last weekend, the Lady Hornets went 3-0 on the day to take first place in the Whaley Park Tournament Flint. New Lothrop beat Bentley 10-4 in the championship game to take home the trophy. In the championship game, Delaney Gross, Makenzie Wendling and Landan Babinger all had two hits with Sara Dammann hitting a home run. Kayla Brunner struck out 7 batters from the mound.
The Lady Hornets improved to 5-0 on the season and host Byron at home on Friday.
