New Lothrop Hornets Varsity Grabs Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Durand
New Lothrop Hornets snatched the lead late in the game in a 12-2 victory over Durand on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with New Lothrop Hornets  batting in the top of the fourth when Jersey Hemgesberg singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

New Lothrop Hornets got on the board in the first inning. New Lothrop Hornets scored two runs when Alyssa Schnell doubled.

New Lothrop Hornets  pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth New Lothrop Hornets scored one run on a wild pitch, Schnell singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run, 

New Lothrop Hornets  scored four runs in the fifth inning. New Lothrop Hornets  big inning was driven by doubles by Charleigh Birchmeier and Hemgesberg and a groundout by Joely Angst.

Hemgesberg was credited with the victory for New Lothrop Hornets Varsity. She lasted six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out five and walking zero.

New Lothrop Hornets  launched one home run on the day. Julia Martin had a four bagger in the sixth inning.

New Lothrop Hornets  racked up 16 hits. Hemgesberg, Birchmeier, Schnell, Isabel Henige, and Martin each racked up multiple hits for New Lothrop Hornets . Hemgesberg led New Lothrop Hornets  with four hits in five at bats. New Lothrop Hornets. was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Henige had the most chances in the field with eight.

Four RBI Day For Emma Muron Brings Victory For New Lothrop Hornets Varsity Over Durand

Emma Muron showed timely hitting on Wednesday, driving in four on two hits to lead New Lothrop Hornets  past Durand 20-3 on Wednesday. Muron drove in runs on a home run in the second and a sacrifice fly in the third.

New Lothrop Hornets  secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by singles by Alyssa Schnell, Ciara Wendling, and Isabel Henige, a walk by Brooke Birchmeier, a groundout by Jersey Hemgesberg, and a double by Charleigh Birchmeier.

New Lothrop Hornets  tallied 11 runs in the fourth inning. Schnell, Wendling,  C. Birchmeier, Henige, B. Birchmeier, and Hemgesberg all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Hemgesberg was the winning pitcher for New Lothrop Hornets . She lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three and walking one. Paige Bishop threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
