The Lady Hornets closed out the season with a tough conference opponent facing Ovid Elsie Thursday night. New Lothrop started out strong leading the Marauders 12-3 after the first quarter. Ovid Elsie stuck with it and played great defense to slowly dwindle the lead. The lady hornets missed some easy baskets and struggled on the offensive end late in the game which led to eventually falling 32-22. Ava Muron lead the way with 8 points and 5 steals while Chalea Herron added 6 points and 3 rebounds. The Hornets finished the season with a 11 - 8 overall record (7 - 5 in the Conference).
