The lady hornets had a tough game Monday night against a good non-conference opponent, the Birch Run Panthers. New Lothrop trailed 20-13 at the half and were never able to close the gap. Hats off to the Panthers as they shot very well in the second half from behind the arc. Makena Newman lead the way for the hornets with nine points and four rebounds. Ava Muron added 5 point and 5 boards while Eva Harden added 4 points and 5 boards. New Lothrop looks to close out the season against Ovid Elsie Thursday night.
