It was a great non conference battle between two good teams. New Lothrop trailed at the half 22-13 and would later make it a game until Fowlerville ultimately pulled away at the end. The hornets were led by Ava Muron who had 16 points and seven steals while Hannah Beacamp also contributed 10 points and 9 boards. Ava Salsgiver also pitched in 5 points and three assists and Maddie Eustace added 9 rebounds and 4 steals. The hornets will be back in conference action on Thursday as they take on Mt. Morris.
