Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Ovid-Elsie HS School

New Lothrop (15-5 overall, 10-4 MMAC) could have forged a tie for first with a victory Friday night against league rival Ovid Elsie. Although it was a loss, Coach Simons was proud of the accomplishments of his team after getting a delayed start to the season due to most of the roster being on the Division 7 State title team. At 15-5, the varsity team won a lot of big games. This game marks the end of the regular season and with a one day break, will head into practice to prepare for the tournament which begins Monday at Ithaca against St. Louis who is 4-15 on the season.
