The Hornets played their most complete game to this point in the season with a 53-9 victory over a previously unbeaten Chesaning team. The defensive effort was tremendous for all 32 minutes of this game. 9 players scored again for NL and Lily Bruff led the scoring with 13 points. At the midway mark of the season the Hornets are now 5-1.
