New Lothrop Cross Country competed at the Frankenmuth Eagle CC Invitational today with 23 schools.

New Lothrop ran in the smaller schools Red Division. In the girls varsity race Cass City won with 36 pts, with NL girls finishing 2^nd with 45 pts. Allison Sowatsky of Valley Lutheran won on the very hilly course running 20:29 followed by NL’s Clara Krupp running 20:34. Also scoring for the girls was Alana Beckman 13^th, 25:08, Julia Martin 14^th, 25:09, Sidney Green 15^th, 25:10 & Lindsey Wendling 17^th, 25:19. Lauren Lane 25:32, Chalea Herron 27:05 & Kendra Gross 28:13 also ran for the Varsity girls team.

In the guys race NL boys were 1^st with 31 pts. Carson Hersch was 1^st in the Red Division running 17:30, followed by Drew Kohlmann 2^nd, 18:15, Cole Yaros 7^th, 19:21, Ryan Heslip 9^th, 19:28 & Jason Weber 17^th 20:51 – each scored for the guys team. Also running Varsity was Aaron Vincke 21:09, Zachary Craven 21:26 & Josh Collins 21:37.

In the girls JV race Freeland won with 23 pts & NL was 4^th with 102. Avary Witt of Yale won running 23:14. For NL Taylor Yaros finished 14^th running 26:34, Madison Wheeler 18^th, 27:17, Alivia Angst 23^rd, 28:01, Lauren Gross 25^th, 28:09 & Jillian Rau 27^th, 28:35 -each scored for the JV girls team. Also running was Abbey Angst 28:52, Danielle Wendling 29:02, Macy Matthews 30:28, Charlotte Gross 30:32, Tabatha Gross 30:54, Isabel Henige 31:04, Maria Magnuszewska 31:08, Isabella Morell 31:38, Haley Vincke 32:34, Emily Gross 32:47, Kiara Gemalsky 32:54, Kora Krupp 35:52, Makenzi Tallon 37:00, Brooke Albert 37:03, Jasmine Eickholt 43:59 & Molly Eickholt 47:56

Yale won the JV boys race with 15 pts with their William Falls winning the race in 19:53. NL boys were 3^rd with 85 pts with Brennan Unangst leading the NL guys finishing 9^th in 21:12, followed by Luke Henige 16^th, 22:19, Parker Noonan 18^th, 22:32, Alex Milks 21^st, 22:53 & Matt Kieffer 33^rd, 23:48 – each scored for the JV guys team. Also running was Sam Collins 23:55, Harry Helmick 25:02, William Craven 25:02, Max Spencere 25:10, Dillan Morell 25:14, Ethan Brunner 28:22 & Logan Hornak 28:34.

NL cross country Middle School girls finished 2nd (103 pts) behind White Pine (61 pts) yesterday. Ally Andres ran 3rd in the time of 13:46, followed by Kyra Edwards 14th, 14:55, Cailyn Adduddell 17th, 14:58, Klara Mulcahy 35th, 16:05 & Sara Dammann 48th, 16:34 --each scored for the MS girls team. Also running was MAya Newman 16:40, Josie BAuman 16:41, Laura Sharpe 16:44, Olivia Gillette 18:10, Rylee Elkins 18:14, Emma Lebourdais 18:43, Ashlyn Albert 20:04, Veronica Stacey 28:07 & Abby  Burr 28:35. (Kennedi Wendling, Anna Tallon & Alivia Quirk got off course).

In the boys MS race the boys finished 6th with 186 pts with White pine winning with 48 pts. Lieu Vincke led the NL boys running 14th in 13:31, followed by John Gross 29th, 14:12, Hunter Cromwell 48th, 14:58, Kyle Hinrichs 49th, 14:59, & Alex Bauman 67th, 15:34 --each scored for theteam. Also running was Westin Sweers 16:00. August Birkmeier 16:14, Matthew Hughes 16:25, Kaden Ingram 17:41, Jasper Andres 18:12 & Tim Schmeir 23:53.
