New Lothrop Hornets Varsity Defeats Byron In A Blow-Out Victory
- New Lothrop Hornets Varsity easily did away with Byron 17-3 on Monday
- New Lothrop Hornets Varsity got things started in the first inning when Jersey Hemgesberg grounded out, scoring one run.
- New Lothrop Hornets Varsity notched eight runs in the fifth inning. Sara Dammann, Kiara Gemalsky, Isabel Henige, Alyssa Birchmeier, Marissa Rombach, and Samantha Birchmeier each had RBIs in the frame.
- Hemgesberg pitched New Lothrop Hornets Varsity to victory. The righthander lasted three innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out five and walking zero. Birchmeier threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
