The 8th grade girls basketball team continued its winning ways with a lopsided 66-10 victory over Byron. The defense set the tone from the beginning not allowing a point in the first half for the second consecutive game. The scoring was spread out for the Hornets with four players scoring in double figures. Brynne Birchmeier led the way with 16, Alexis Miller followed with 13, and Marissa Rombach and Rilee Masterson each had 10 points. The Hornets are now 6-1.
