NL Baseball Wins District Title!
Brady Birchmeier came in to the game up 7-6 with two on and one out. He left the game with two strikeouts as he struck the next two batters out to give the Hornets a District Title and a shot at Regionals. Jake Graves grinded out the first six innings on the mound, and Graves and Julius Garza each recorded two hits in the final. Gavin Drager had a two run double that started a 5 run sixth inning to give the Hornets a 7-4 lead. In the semi final, Cam Orr picked up the win on the mound along with three hits as New Lothrop defeated Byron 12-2. The Hornets (28-9-1) will play in the Regional Semi Final against Bentley on Wednesday.
