Six RBI Day For Samantha Birchmeier Seals The Deal In New Lothrop Hornets  Victory Over Lakeville

Samantha Birchmeier was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Monday, driving in six on two hits to lead New Lothrop Hornets  past Lakeville 12-8 on Monday. Birchmeier drove in runs on a grand slam in the fourth and a single in the fifth.

New Lothrop Hornets earned the victory despite allowing Lakeville to score five runs in the seventh inning.

Jersey Hemgesberg earned the victory on the rubber for New Lothrop Hornets . She went six and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on ten hits and striking out two. Birchmeierthrew one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

New Lothrop Hornets Varsity smacked one home run on the day. Birchmeier had a dinger in the fourth inning.

New Lothrop Hornets  totaled 15 hits. Alyssa Schnell, Birchmeier, Hemgesberg, Isabel Henige, Julia Martin, and Charleigh Birchmeier all managed multiple hits for New Lothrop Hornets. Schnell led New Lothrop Hornets with three hits in four at bats.

New Lothrop Hornets Varsity Takes The Game Over Lakeville In A Blow-Out Victory, 16-2

New Lothrop Hornets  won big over Lakeville 16-2 on Monday.

New Lothrop Hornets  opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jersey Hemgesberg grounded out, scoring one run.

New Lothrop Hornets  put up five runs in the fourth inning. Emma Muron, Samantha Birchmeier, and Julia Martin all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Hemgesberg got the win for New Lothrop Hornets . She lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four.

New Lothrop Hornets smacked six home runs on the day. Martin went deep in the fourth inning. Muron had a dinger in the first and fourth innings. Alyssa Schnell went for the long ball in the first inning. Hemgesberg went deep in the third inning. Birchmeier had a long ball in the fourth inning.

New Lothrop Hornets had 14 hits in the game. Muron, Birchmeier, Hemgesberg, Isabel Henige, and Martin each racked up multiple hits for New Lothrop Hornets . Muron went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead New Lothrop Hornets Varsity in hits. New Lothrop Hornets didn't commit a single error in the field. Birchmeier had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
