The Varsity Boys ended the 2018-2019 season with a rough start in the district final against Ithaca tonight. The team battled back in the 2nd quarter and held them to only 8 points, however struggled to score all night. Ithaca is by far the biggest team they have faced all year and it really made their zone tough to penetrate. Ithaca ha a 6’9” in the center and 3-4 other kids that were 6’4” to 6’6”. Kollin Lienau, the lone senior on the team tried his best to keep us in the game, scoring 19 of the total points. This was a stellar year for the senior who was a big reason that the team won as many games as they did.
Coach Simons is extremely proud of the accomplishments of these boys, finishing with a final record of 17-6 and reaching the final round of the district tournament.
