New Lothrop opened their MMAC schedule with a 50 to 24 win over Mt. Morris. Alex Wolford, Logan Zell and Isiah Pasik recorded pins in the dual.
In the nightcap, New Lothrop lost a non-conference dual to Gaylord (ranked #6 in Division 2 by Michigan Grappler), 37-26. Austin Wolford recorded the Hornets' lone pin, while senior Logan Zell logged a milestone victory with his 100th career win.
