Boys: The New Lothrop Varsity boys team took on Bentley on Saturday. This year, the team has three returning varsity bowlers and four junior varsity players who have been brought up from last years team. New Lothrop came out hot in the first baker match rolling a 193 to start their off 2018-2019 season! Although they lost the second baker match, the boys came back strong to take seven of the next 10 points. Star performances out of junior, Kaine Moriarity, senior Braden Sovis, and senior captain Tate Steinborn helped the team to victory. We are looking forward to a great year with these boys!

Girls: The New Lothrop girls team also took on Bentley on Saturday. The girls have four returning varsity bowlers and two new girls this year. The girls played well against a four player Bentley team. They won all ten baker points, and eight out of the ten individual points to end with a score of 28-2. Stand out performances by seniors, Anna Miller, co-captain Elissa Henige, Kate Muron, and co-captain Samantha Bitterman forecast a wonderful season this year!
